 Where is the location of TimeTec TA Server?

Currently, the TimeTec TA platform is located in West California, United States of America.

 Do you set up your own cloud platform, or do you work with a third-party vendor?

TimeTec TA is currently working with Amazon EC2, who acts as our Cloud platform provider.

 What is the uptime guarantee for TimeTec TA?

 Does the data sync between TimeTec mobile app and the web happen instantaneously?

Definitely! If for some reason you can’t see the data, always try refreshing the screen.

 Do I need to buy TimeTec app or does it have any in-app purchase?

TimeTec mobile app can be installed free from iOS or GooglePlay, but you’ll only have access to all of its features when you subscribe with TimeTec TA. You can purchase this subscription from BioAccSys Australia, where you will enjoy more TimeTec perks.

 What is the average time required for TimeTec TA implementation?

To answer this, we need to know how many employees your company has, and how complex your scheduling is. TimeTec TA’s implementation depends highly on these two factors. It can take anywhere from one hour to a few weeks depending on the size of your company or organisation. During the implementation process, BioAccSys Australia technicians are there to support you. Alternatively, let us do the setup for you to speed the process.

 How safe is my data on your cloud?

Don’t worry, we deploy the necessary processes to keep your data safe, and we have sufficient recovery plans in place to manage your data in our cloud.

 Do I need to fulfil system requirements to use TimeTec TA?

Fortunately, no. TimeTec TA works across all browsers and all mobile devices.

 Where can I buy TimeTec TA? If I’m overseas, can I still use your product?

In this cloud era, so long as you have an internet connection, our product is there. Just drop us an email and we will be able to assist you to get setup.

FAQ’s Regarding TimeTec TA Devices/Terminals

 Is a FingerTec terminal necessary if I intend to use TimeTec TA?

A FingerTec terminal is not necessary if you want to use TimeTec TA. As an alternative, you may download TimeTec Mobile on your iPhone or Android gadgets, or you can use our web check-in on any computer to clock-in your attendance. However, nowadays, more and more companies are choosing biometrics terminals for attendance clocking to prevent “buddy-punching” activities, and time theft.

 Can I use other brands of biometrics and/or RFID terminals for TimeTec TA instead of FingerTec brand?

No. TimeTec TA does not support other brands of biometrics terminals. FingerTec terminals have been fully tested with TimeTec TA, and have been proven to be seamlessly integrated into the FingerTec terminals. If you wish to install TimeTec we highly recommend investing in a FingerTec terminal.

 Where can I buy FingerTec terminals and where would I get local support?

BioAccSys Australia is the authorised distributor of FingerTec devices in Australia. We have local technicians to assist you in your support and sales inquiries. Simply drop us an email and we will assist you accordingly.

 How reliable are FingerTec terminals time clocks?

Usually software houses offer a lot of workforce cloud services without providing reliable hardware and sales & technical support network to ensure a smooth implementation. The brand FingerTec along with BioAccSys Australia, and its line of time attendance and access control devices have been in the market for more than a decade and the brand has received high recognition in product and support quality.

FAQs Regarding User Licenses

 What is the rationale of charging TimeTec TA by a block of 10 users instead of counting the license by the exact number of users to reduce the implementation cost?

Staff turnover is never constant and always changing in a company. To charge for an individual license for every new recruit is cumbersome because you have to go through TimeTec TA license subscription and payment process before he/she can be registered into the system, or you will need to cancel a user license if he/she had resigned.

Charging 10 users per block of user licenses would ensure that a company has some spare licenses to be used at anytime. The TimeTec TA license subscription fee is only AUD $3.3 per user per month (AUD33 per block of 10), comparatively low in the market, and the minimum of 10 users as a unit of group license only to justify our investment and commitment to provide high quality and reliable system for you. You also get 10 free user licences for life.

 Could my free trial data get transferred to my subscribed account to save on repetitive tasks on system set up and data entry?

Definitely. Our system is designed to allow free trial data to be migrated to the subscribed account to avoid repetitive data entry and system set up.

 My company is currently using FingerTec terminals, can I integrate the terminals to TimeTec TA during the free trial period?

Yes.

FAQs Regarding Free Licenses

 Should I purchase any FingerTec biometrics terminals to entitle me for TimeTec TA’s free 10 user licenses?

You are not required to purchase any terminals from us to gain access to the free TimeTec TA user-license block. Every FingerTec client automatically gets a block of TimeTec TA containing 10 user licenses for free.

 Can I have additional free blocks if I purchase more FingerTec terminals from you?

No, one company is only entitled to a free block regardless of the amount of hardware purchase or the frequency of purchase from BioAccSys Australia.

 Do we need to provide credit card information to obtain these free licenses?

Don’t take out your wallet just yet. We don’t require any credit card information for this free account, believe it, it’s FREE. However, once you decide to add some more licenses, we offer several payment methods to go about. Contact our team to find out more.

 Can I create more than one free 10 user license account for my company and sync all employee’s data to avoid paying subscription?

You are not allowed to do so, because each company is entitled to only one TimeTec TA free account with 10 user licenses. It is troublesome for a company to maintain multiple accounts in operation and cumbersome to sync all employee’s data. Any violation of our free-license policy may lead to suspension of your multiple free user license accounts.

 Will my data be kept even if it’s inactive?

Yes, we will keep the data even when your account is inactive, but efforts will be taken to alert you on your account’s inactivity.

Will I receive full support even if I’m using this free account?

Trust us, we will not leave you behind. Our technical team will always be providing you with our full email support because we treat all TimeTec TA account users the same. If you are a TimeTec TA user, you are entitled to the TimeTec TaA user privileges.

 Does a free account have features similar to a fully paid account?

Yes, nothing is being hidden or disabled just because the account is free. We strongly believe that by providing companies with this free account, they can experience the benefits of the software in totality in managing their business, and in time, would consider TimeTec TA as the solution to handle their employees as the company grows.

 If I delete an existing user, can I create another user to replace the deleted one?

Yes, but you won’t be able to use the same TimeTec User ID assigned to the deleted user.

 What if I need the data of the employees that I wish to delete?

You need to export every data of the employee before you proceed with the deletion.

 Is there any further discount for TimeTec TA licenses if I want to buy more?

Definitely. If you purchase an annual license for 30 users and more annually, you will get 1 month free + annual remote & phone support.

FAQs Regarding Our Account Trials

 Is it easy to sign up for a trial account?

Absolutely! You just need to SIGN UP at our website and fill in some details, and you are good to go. Click here to go to our TimeTec TA sign up page.

 Once my trial period is over, are you going to start charging me?

Definitely not. Since we never ask you for credit card information, we are not going to charge you for the solution and you’ll won’t be automatically enrolled. But, if you would like to still use TimeTec TA, that first 10 user licenses are free for your company, for life.

 Are you going to limit my access to web only during trial?

Definitely not! We want you to fully experience TimeTec TA so you can use the web, the app and if you have FingerTec biometric devices, you can connect them too.

FAQs Regarding Payments

 I prefer not to make online payments or online transactions. Can I use other payment modes?

Yes. You can contact our sales team and they will be able to assist you with that.

 Do I need to pay bank charges when I make the online payment to you?

No. You just need to pay the exact amount on the billing.

How often will I get invoices from TimeTec TA?

TimeTec TA is a SaaS subscription model. It allows you to determine your payment cycle. If you want to pay annually upfront, or you want to pay half-yearly, let us know.

 Is anything I purchase at TimeTec TA fixed or is it scalable?

TimeTec TA is flexible and you can adjust your purchases based on your requirements. If you want to add licenses, you can and if you want to reduce also you can. Don’t buy things in excess. Contact our sales team to assist you with that.

 How do I buy TimeTec TA?

You can contact our team and we will assist you.

FAQs Regarding Termination

 Am I able to get any refund when my company wants to terminate its subscription?

Yes, you could get the refund for the unutilized subscription calculated by months minus the administration charges of AUD 50 and bank charges.

If your subscription fee was paid to our local authorized reseller, you have to inform them to help you terminate your subscription and you have to get your refund from them.

 Can I retrieve my company data when our company has decided to terminate TimeTec TA’s subscription?

Yes, we will send you a link via your registered email for you to download your data in CSV format. It is recommended that you download the relevant data during the grace period of 45 days. After the grace period, we will remove your data from our server and any lost of data after that grace period will be irretrievable.

 Could my company renew my subscription when it has already terminated?

Renewal of your subscription is available within 45 days of grace period after termination is approved. After that, your data will be removed from our server, and you have to start with a new subscription and go through all the system set up process again.

FAQs Regarding Support

 How do I get technical support for TimeTec TA?

Our technical team is reachable via email. Simply contact us from our contact page, select support and our technicians will respond to you swiftly. TimeTec TA support is available 24-hour, 7 days a week, all year round via email.

 I’m not familiar with TimeTec TA. What is the best way to setup my account?

Implementation Wizard will be there to assist you. All you need to do is to follow the instructions provided and you’ll be able to setup your account in no time. If you come across any issues, we can assist you. Alternatively, you can take our support package where all the setup and training will be done by our friendly technicians.

 Can I migrate my existing data from TCMS to TimeTec TA?

FAQs Regarding Existing TCMSv2/v3 users

 I’m currently using FingerTec TCMS V2 software, should I upgrade the software to TimeTec TA or is TCMS V2 sufficient for my requirements?

The migration is not compulsory if TCMS V2 fits your current requirements and a cloud-based solution is not on top of your priority list. TimeTec TA highlights Cloud-based solutions with some key features, which are absent from TCMS V2. In case there are requirements from your end to include the features such as customizable reports, multi-tier user access rights, etc., and you have the budget to implement TimeTec TA, we highly recommend an upgrade from TCMS V2 to TimeTec TA.

 Are all features in the TCMS V2 available in TimeTec TA?

TimeTec TA contains all the TCMS V2 time attendance features plus much more! On top of that, the software is easily navigated, allowing you to apply and use the features that you need easily.

*Please note that TCMSv2 has been discontinued and is no longer supplied. All software updates have stopped. Support for TCMSv2 from BioAccSys Australia will stop on June 30th 2018.
